THE CBT'S RESPONSE TO ED MILIBAND'S FOCUS ON BUSINESS RATES.

The CBT has lobbied the labour party and showed support to the announcement made by Ed Miliband at his party's conference in Brighton. The Labour leader's focus on business rates is welcomed during this difficult and challenging trading environment endured by CBT's members. extortionately high business rates is suppressing the growth of too many small businesses. This in itself is adversely affecting the British economy and employment levels The proposed tax break of £800 million to small firms would indeed be a welcomed incentive to alleviate the financial stress currently burdening many of the CBT's members throughout the whole of UK.
